In 2008, Mike Pfaiffer took over as the president once again as A.P.P.L.E. celebrates 30 years. Bill Martens has left the group other than a peripheral role as a director and the Apple User Group Ambassador.

It also brings about this web site and the return of all of the materials to the general public for free. Copyrights associated with A.P.P.L.E. are retained by Bill Martens and A.P.P.L.E., however the downloads will all be free.

2002 marked the return of the long lost Call-A.P.P.L.E. magazine thanks to the efforts of Bill Martens, Rick Sutcliffe, Norman Dodge and John Woodall. A host of others contributed materials and Norman handed over all of the materials that belonged to the group during his tenure as president of the group.

2002 also marked the return to A.P.P.L.E. by Val J, Golding although more in an over seer role more than anything else.

1979 signaled the growth of the Users group to 5000 plus members. It also signaled the end of the hack a mag look and brought about the professional look that Call-A.P.P.L.E. would be remembered for.

This section contains all of the maazines produced in 1978, from the first one page issue produced by Val J. Golding with the purpose of creating the users group all the way to the more professional production of the final issue of the year. Each issue this year was personally edited and produced by Val, including complete re-typing of articles which had a spelling issue.
